What is your niche and how long have you been in the influencer space?
I make film-related content such as reviews and recommendations. I also sometimes post socio-political commentary. I've been in the influencer space for about 4 years now!
If you could collaborate with any brand, who would it be and why?
My dream is to collaborate with lots of movie studios and streaming services but if I had to pick just one, it would be Mubi!
What inspires you most?
I am so inspired by all of the amazing people of colour who are doing brilliant things in the film industry. For a long time, I felt as though the film space wasn't for me because it is a white male-dominated industry but I've come to know of so many brilliant cast and crew in the industry who are making moves! They make me feel like I belong and that one day I can also make a film.
What advice would you give to aspiring influencers who are considering joining the Creator Club?
I would always encourage you to make content that you feel genuinely passionate about and that makes you happy. Message people doing similar things to you and make friends with them because when you're putting yourself out there in this way, it's important to have support from people who understand.
